Liontown’s Chair Tim Goyder, Non-Executive Director Shane McLeay and Managing Director and CEO Antonino (Tony) Ottaviano visited our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation this week to connect with the team and see first-hand the significant progress on the ramp-up of production. Guided by site leaders, the group walked through the process plant as ore was fed through one side and concentrate poured out the other. They witnessed the depth of the open pit, with truck after truck transporting ore to the ROM pad. The visit included a look at the ongoing underground development, seeing both the underground ore and infrastructure works – including the recently completed paste plant. Production ramp-up has been strong and the team remains focused on delivery as we position Liontown for long-term success as a globally significant lithium producer. #LTR #Mining #Lithium #KathleenValley #CriticalMinerals #BatteryMetals #Sustainability

Thanks to an incredible effort by our team, GR Engineering Services Ltd and other partners, we’re excited to share that construction of the Kathleen Valley paste plant is complete – on schedule and on budget. It’s the largest paste plant in Australia, supporting future optionality for expanding our mine plan and production rate in line with market conditions. The plant uses tailings to produce the paste which will be pumped underground to backfill the stopes and ensure the stability of our mine. It has been designed with water-saving features and reduces both our waste and the size of our tailings dam, minimising our environmental impact. Thank you to Senior Project Engineer Marco Giubilato for sharing the news. #LTR #Mining #Lithium #Construction #PastePlant #Sustainability #CriticalMinerals

We’re proud to partner with Edith Cowan University’s Mental Awareness, Respect and Safety (MARS) Centre on research improving the mental health and wellbeing of FIFO workers. Supported by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, the study at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation demonstrated that feeling a sense of belonging is important for mental wellbeing when working away from home. Liontown Work Health and Safety Manager Hayden Spencer shared our experience of participating in the study at the ECU MARS Centre Research Showcase last week, highlighting its positive contribution to our wellbeing strategy by providing evidence-based recommendations tailored to our operation. Through this partnership, we’re helping create a safer, more supportive mining industry for FIFO workers everywhere. #LTR #ECUMARSCentre #DEMIRS #Mining #Lithium #KathleenValley #Wellbeing #MentalHealth

Liontown recently attended the Wiluna Remote Community School Career Expo to inspire students with hands-on activities in environmental science and showcase careers in mining. We also hosted Kalgoorlie TAFE at the event, who provided an interactive VR experience and discussed the career pathways and training programs they offer. It was a wonderful day connecting with the students who attended, supporting education and development in our local community. Thank you to Wiluna for having us and to the students who served up coffees and toasties for us to enjoy! #LTR #Wiluna #Mining #Lithium #Sustainability #EnvironmentalScience #CareerExpo

Today, a long-standing member of our Kathleen Valley team will hang up his hard hat and transition to retirement. Marty R. Winch-Buist first arrived at Kathleen Valley in 2022, initially to establish water delivery to the project. His extensive expertise in health and safety quickly became evident and we invited him to lead the development of our safety culture and systems as Health and Safety Superintendent. He helped build a culture where workers feel empowered to prioritise their safety and wellbeing. He also became a good friend to those around him, known for offering guidance, sharing stories and helping to solve all sorts of problems. “Marty became an institution at Kathleen Valley - not just for his safety leadership, but for his extensive knowledge across many areas, including his book recommendations, leadership advice, and being our resident local history buff,” shared Work Health and Safety Manager Hayden Spencer. On behalf of everyone at Liontown, we thank Marty for his enormous contribution to our operation and wish him all the best for retirement. #LTR #Mining #Lithium #CriticalMinerals #Safety #WHS #KathleenValley

Today we announced an update to our mine plan and issued H2 FY25 guidance for Kathleen Valley. We have adapted quickly to the current market by revising our mine and production plans to prioritise higher margin ore at reduced costs. Future optionality has been retained, with the ability to revisit an expanded mine plan and embedded growth in the process plant when market conditions improve.
