🌞 Summer Heat Safety Care Plan 🌞 The sun is shining, and it’s time to enjoy the season—but staying safe in the heat is a must! Follow these simple tips to beat the heat and keep cool all summer long: 💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink water regularly—even if you’re not thirsty. Add slices of cucumber or lemon for a refreshing twist! 🌡️ Check the forecast. Keep an eye on weather apps for heat advisories and humidity levels so you’re always prepared. ❄️ Stay cool indoors. Make sure your AC or fans are working. Clean air filters and use cool towels if you don’t have AC. 👚 Dress light. Opt for loose, light-colored clothing to stay cool. Don’t forget a wide-brimmed hat for extra shade! 🌞 Avoid peak sun hours. Limit outdoor activities between 10 AM - 4 PM when the sun is strongest. Plan to be outside early or late in the day. ⚠️ Know the signs of heat illness. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or confused, get to a cool place, drink water, and rest. 👵👶 Check on loved ones. Make sure elderly relatives and young children are staying cool and hydrated.
