Congratulations to our newest Life Member, David Lewis. Dave has been a member of the LGFP for 28 years, serving on the LGFP Executive for 9 years, including 3 years as President. During this time Dave set the foundation for the evolution of the LGFP into the organisation it is today. His significant contributions included: - introducing amendments to the LGFP Constitution that put time limits on the terms of office for Executive members to ensure the Committee reflected the changing membership of the Association - commencing the Finance Professionals Forum, a one-day professional development opportunity for members - strengthening our relationships with government stakeholders to position the LGFP as a key strategic partner in the sector - enhancing the annual conference program to include more keynote speakers and non-finance specific topics - improving transparency and reporting Congratulations Dave and thank you for your valued service to the Association.
