Free Maths Resources for Years 7–10 Teachers! Earlier this year, AMSI hosted the Teacher Professional Learning in Industry Day in partnership with the Australian Centre for Career Education and with the generous support of the Toyota Community Trust. AMSI is also proud to partner with industry leaders Aurecon and Champion Data. As part of this event, AMSI developed and shared maths lesson plans and resources for years 7 - 10 to enhance mathematics teaching by connecting classroom learning to real-world applications. These materials are designed to inspire greater student engagement and support your teaching goals. Can you believe that in my 10 years of teaching mathematics I have never been to the annual The Mathematical Association of Victoria Conference? Well, this year is different and I'm so excited to be attending the MAV24 conference at La Trobe University🥳 Having taught at a small school for the majority of my career, the MAV conference has always been too much of a luxury to afford on a small mathematics faculty budget, so this year is certainly a special occasion.
