🌟 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗜 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱 🌟 At MI Scaffold, a division of Acrow, we take pride in honouring our history and the strong relationships that have shaped our journey. A tribute to our beginnings and enduring partnership with BMA, we’re excited to unveil our newly completed Production Drive Facility Meeting Room, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎. Adorning its walls are the original, hand-drawn engineering plans of the berth, a nod to MI Scaffold’s first and one of our most significant projects with BMA: the Berth 2 Structural Remediation Integrity (B2SI) Project at Hay Point Coal Terminal. This remarkable project aimed to extend the lifespan of Berth 2 and ultimately facilitated the construction of new berthing infrastructure at Berth 2A. A pivotal element of this work was the remediation of the berth’s Cassions, structures consisting of four interconnected concrete columns, each with nine internal chambers exposed to tidal conditions. Over the span of seven years, MI Scaffold worked alongside BMA’s Engineering Project Management Team and other contractors in high-risk tidal environments, delivering exceptional outcomes: 👉 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗟𝗧𝗜) over the entire project duration. 👉 𝟮𝟮𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱 erected in challenging tidal conditions. 👉 A peak team of 𝟮𝟮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 ensuring efficient and safe project delivery. 👉 Rapid and effective recovery from Cyclone Debbie, safely dismantling and rectifying damaged scaffold with minimal project delay. The success of this project led to our continued engagement on deconstruction and reconstruction contracts from 2022–2024 as part of BHP/McConnell Dowell’s SABR Project. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 stands as a testament to MI Scaffold’s expertise, dedication, and the enduring partnership with BMA. It serves not only as a meeting space but as a symbol of our commitment to excellence and the lasting impact of collaboration.
