The inaugural Scale For Impact Retreat was everything, and more, than we could have ever expected. Through a 2-year pilot funding opportunity provided by the ACT Government, Scale for Impact is designed to provide contextualised capability building and connection for established social enterprises in the Canberra region to growth and funding opportunities. With outstanding content facilitated and delivered by Adam Long GAICD and Vera Borsboom from our Program Delivery Partners Social Impact Hub, the cohorts Founders enjoyed the opportunity to step away from their day-to-day operations with the Retreat providing a congenial environment to enhance skills, collaborate, refresh perspectives, sharpen focus and deepen learnings. The Microforest Collective: Official Launch Celebrate the launch of The Microforest Collective: a new not-for-profit organisation established to support community leaders to create microforests in their suburbs. The Microforest Collective will help more people transform under-utilised green space into thriving local hubs - strengthening community, cooling the climate and reconnecting people to nature. This launch is a fun event for the whole family in the picturesque Watson Micro-forest featuring live music including from Canberra music legend Pete Cashew as well as food trucks, artist stalls, and more.
