With the year heading to a close, the learning hasn’t stopped for team Nash.   We kicked things off bright and early, 3am to be precise, to align with our American counterparts at REACH Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions for a 2 day training session for our staff.   Later we switched gears for a lunch and learn session on “Deal Efficiency in the age of ChatGPT and AI”, where we explored how these cutting-edge tools are reshaping the deal making landscape.   With our deal pipeline also remaining strong it’s safe to say our team earned a well-deserved rest after an intensive week.  

Earlier this month our Director Paul Nemets was fortunate enough to visit SEMA SHOW 2024 the largest automotive expo in the world in Las Vegas. With over 20 miles of exhibitors over two days, it was an eye-opening experience witnessing the sheer scale of the North American automotive sector. It was also great to see Australian companies such as REDARC Electronics Pty Ltd, IRONMAN 4X4, ARB 4x4 Accessories USA , EGR, Bushwakka Adventure Gear USA and Saber Offroad on display and dominating the global overlanding sector.

Nash Advisory & Capital congratulates LGT Crestone Wealth Management Limited on signing an agreement to acquire Commonwealth Bank's personal advice business, Commonwealth Private Advice. Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s highly regarded personal advice business for ultra-high net worth and high net worth clients currently comprises approximately 500 clients and more than A$5 billion in client assets. As a part of the transaction LGT Crestone will integrate approximately 40 experienced advisers, associates and support employees into its business. Nash Advisory advised LGT Crestone in relation to the transaction, which is expected to complete by mid-2025 and will strengthen LGT Crestone’s national presence with offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The Nash Advisory deal team was led by Edmond Chan with the assistance of Jack Geason, Will Condon and Emma Thornbrough. 

Nash Advisory & Capital would like to congratulate RMIT University on claiming the title of Victoria’s Local Winner in the CFA Research Challenge hosted by CFA Society Australia, competing against University of Melbourne and Deakin University. Nash Advisory Managing Director Sean O'Neill, along with Advait Joshi and Johnson Li, CFA served as industry mentors for the students throughout the challenge, guiding them through complex financial analysis, valuation techniques and presentation strategies. The students will now head to the Oceania Finals in 2025 as Victoria’s champions and Nash will continue to serve as their mentors.
