  • Our commitment to creating opportunities is having real impact on the next generation of plumbing apprentices 🚿 By opening our doors and experience to individuals ready to chart their own path, we are able to expose them to possibilities they never dreamed of. To share Cloe's experience and further encourage budding apprentices into the workforce, especially as plumbers, is an opportunity we are extremely proud of. Thank you to the Inner Northern Local Learning and Employment Network Inc (INLLEN) for their continued collaboration with NPS, and here's to all our future plumbers 🌟

Today, Aaron and Cloe from New Plumbing Solutions (NPS) visited Glenroy College to chat with Year 11 & 12 VCE Vocational Major students about real opportunities in the plumbing industry For Cloe, this visit was extra special—because not long ago, she was sitting in the same classrooms, wondering about her future. Through an industry tour at NPS, she discovered a passion for plumbing. That experience led to a Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) placement, and now, she’s officially an apprentice plumber with NPS! 👏 A huge thank you to Aaron and the NPS team for supporting the next generation of tradies and showing students that hands-on experience can open real doors! . #CareerPathways #PlumbingCareers #SWLSuccess #FutureTradies #IndustryConnections #GlenroyCollege #NewPlumbingSolutions

  • Creating opportunities together, isn't just for our customers or communities, it's also about building our talent from within 🌟 Last year we launched our industry-leading Apprenticeship Plus Program, designed to foster the careers of our apprentices beyond their apprenticeships. By blending hands-on training with cutting-edge classroom learning, they have access to an environment that extends their capability. Beyond being winners of the Victoria Training Awards Employer Award for Apprenticeship Development in both 2022 and 2023 and a 2024 Finalist, we have also been recognised for our participation as a Host Employer for the Structured Workplace Learning programs in both 2023 and 2024 under the School to Work government initiative. We're proud to cheer on apprentice development in any way we can, which lead to our contribution to the 2023 NCAT Bring It On industry team 🚀 This is no small investment, so what does it give us? Supporting our people helps them support us, meaning we have lower turnover, instead creating opportunities for them to grow with us, into roles as contract managers, mentors and more. Spreading our distinct NPS way through every level of of the business for years to come 🙌 #NAWA #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #PlumbingApprenticeships

  • The National Apprenticeship Week Australia theme for 2025 centres around "Skills in Motion," the idea of encouraging individuals to take ownership of their career trajectory 🚀 So how could we not share a homegrown success story, with Cloe finding her passion for plumbing. Coming to NPS through the Inner Northern Local Learning and Employment Network Inc (INLLEN) and our involvement in the Structure Workplace Learning Program (SWL), Cloe's career opportunities exploded when she was exposed to the possibilities in the plumbing industry, an industry she'd never considered. Inspired by the initiatives to support women in plumbing, and the opening of a door of unlocked potential, Cloe's isn't just about breaking gender norms; it’s about an individual finding her passion, steering her own dreams and overcoming stereotypes in a field she is passionate about. "I couldn’t be happier with the company I work for. NPS has welcomed me and treated me as a valuable part of the team. I’ve learnt so much from all the plumbers, I get scheduled with different plumbers doing different jobs and that has made my experience enjoyable." - Cloe #NAWA #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #PlumbingApprenticeships

  • 🚽 Don’t take your loo for granted As contractors for hospitals, schools, councils, and iconic sporting venues, we are no strangers to the protection of our clients' complex and extensive toilet infrastructure. Yet for 1.5 billion people, basic sanitation and access to toilets are still out of reach. Toilets are more than convenience — they’re protection. By creating a barrier between us and our waste, they are essential for public and environmental health. Without adequate systems, pollution spreads, and deadly diseases are unleashed. This #WorldToiletDay, we’re raising awareness, hoping that together we can help drive change for communities in need. 💧 Learn more through WaterAid: https://lnkd.in/g99aQEhK or UN: https://lnkd.in/gM-chfu

  • Last Monday, our very own Andrew Hinchliffe and industry expert Andrew Edney with a guest appearance from Leak Detection guru Cameron Shaw, delivered the first NPS Water Efficiency Training program 💧 With changing climates, growing populations and limited resources for our precious water, the importance of understanding the world of efficient water practices was not lost on one our long-standing clients. This program focused on imparting the knowledge that would allow our client to better serve their communities and identify areas of improvement when it comes to water use especially in a commercial setting. Using water is inevitable, but we believe there is always a smarter solution ✅ So here's to our first class of budding water efficiency advocates 👏 #WaterEfficiencySolutions #SmartWaterManagement
