We’re celebrating another incredible year of growth for NRW! Site and office-based, we want to thank our team for all their hard work this past year. Without their efforts, we wouldn’t have had the year we had. We’d also like to thank our valued clients, partners and suppliers for placing their trust in us and supporting us this year and beyond. Let’s continue to raise the bar in 2025! We hope you all have a safe holiday season and a happy New Year.

It’s official – the Wilman Wadandi Highway (Bunbury Outer Ring Road Project) is open! Through the South West Gateway Alliance (SWGA), NRW is proud to have had a part in delivering this project on behalf of Main Roads Western Australia. The SWGA comprises NRW, ACCIONA, MACA Ltd Civil, AECOM, Aurecon and Main Roads WA, with NRW holding 40% of the partnership. Our scope included the design and construction of more than 40km of new roads (Highway and local roads), interchanges and river crossings. As some of you travel down this road this Summer, take some time to (safely!) appreciate the journey on the way. Apprentices are hard at work! As part of our dedication to developing future leaders, we collaborate closely with fellow NRW Holdings subsidiary AES Equipment Solutions. Both teams provide training and broad work experience to our apprentices, both in the workshop and on-site. When the apprentices are first signed on, they work with our Training team to ensure they are aware of all processes and safety requirements. After this, they start working in the AES workshops. Rotating between departments in the workshop, they’ll gain thorough experience in each one. Further down the track, they can choose to work on an NRW site as part of the Maintenance team. Both NRW and AES support the apprentices each step of the way, ensuring they get the most out of this experience and leave it confident, competent and ready for the world. At NRW, we’re always looking for opportunities to partner with companies that ensure the work we provide clients is efficient and sustainable – companies like Fuelfix & Tanks2Go. We've partnered with Fuelfix to construct a temporary refuelling station for our valued client at a major project in the Pilbara. The Battery Energy Storage System allows for simultaneous refuelling of two vehicles and reduced fuel consumption which in turn: - maximises efficiency - extends the generator’s lifespan - eliminates maintenance interruptions and downtime - reduces CO2 emissions - reduces costs. This solution and partnership went above and beyond all requirements. We’re proud to be working together to provide this sustainable, cost-saving and reliable option to our clients. #Sustainability #Efficiency #Productvitiy #CostSaving #NewTechnologies #ProjectUpdate #Partnership #SustainableMining #SustainableCivil

NRW Civil & Mining reposted this
Chairman Michael Arnett and CEO and Managing Director Jules Pemberton today addressed our shareholders at our Annual General Meeting. Both expressed appreciation for our dedicated 8500-strong workforce, responsible for delivering our projects and record results in FY24. Staying in business for 30 years doesn’t happen without a very determined, loyal and dedicated team of people. Back in 1994, we started as a small civil and plant hire contractor operating in Perth and Goldfields with a small but dedicated team. Fast forward to 2024, and we are now operating across Australia, with offices also established in Canada and the United States, servicing an international order book. Over the years, we have experienced remarkable growth. Our commitment to delivering exceptional services to our growing client base and building our reputation for reliability and capability across the industry has remained. As part of the NRW Holdings Group, we’ve created a close partnership with the Western Force and are proud to welcome another Force alumni onto our team—Ollie Callan! Ollie is currently working as a dump truck operator at Karara Mine and will soon begin a Diesel Fitter apprenticeship with our training team in January. He’s enjoyed his time with the team at Karara, commenting: “NRW has been a fantastic start. I have enjoyed many aspects – this includes learning new skills, creating new friendships and seeing/ understanding how the Karara mine operates through day and night. And the transition from Rugby has been similar in regard to routine.” If you’ve been following this partnership, you’d remember we welcomed Ian Prior to our team earlier this year. Here are Ollie, Ian, and Todd, the Project Manager of our team at Karara. Welcome to the team, Ollie! Watch this space to keep up to date on his journey with NRW. #WesternForce #Apprenticeships #TeamUpdate #ProjectUpdate #Sponsorships #Partnerships
