Over the weekend, our Bold Pink Team took the full-time carer of one of our amazing clients out for a drive and a coffee, giving him a much-needed break while our dedicated care team provided support and respite for his loved one. We understand the dedication it takes to be a carer. That’s why respite care is so important—it allows carers to rest, recharge, and look after their well-being while their loved ones continue to receive compassionate and professional support. By taking time to care for themselves, carers can return to their role feeling refreshed and better equipped to provide the love and attention their loved ones deserve. Well done team! 🩷 Nurse Next Door Australia is Now an Approved Home Care Package Provider! 🩷 As many people would know, becoming a Government Approved Aged Care Provider for Home Care Packages is currently very difficult to achieve, with only a very small number of new providers being granted this approval each year. We are very proud to announce that, after countless months of work and an application that was hundreds of pages long, Nurse Next Door Australia has recently been approved as a provider of Government funded Home Care Packages. This achievement means that Nurse Next Door is now able to bring our Core Purpose of Making Lives Better to life in even more of our local communities around Australia. A huge thank you to our dedicated team at HeartQuarters for their commitment to get this approval across the line, when many people said it wasn’t possible because the Government was no longer granting new approvals to anyone. The team at My Aged Care are our new best friends as we undertake the giant task of adding our 50+ Nurse Next Door locations into the My Aged Care Portal - even they are impressed by how many locations we are adding!  At Nurse Next Door, we believe that funding should be spent on care and not fees, so we’re providing full Package Management with the lowest fees in the country at 10%. There’s no Care Management fees - that’s all part of our premium service delivery and all care planning and delivery of services is overseen by an experienced Registered Nurse. More than a year later, Greg enjoys the daily companionship and assistance of our Bold Pink Team, which has made such a difference in his day-to-day. Encouraging his passion for gardening, Greg’s home and garden are now vibrant reflections of this warmth and joyous personality.
