We're thrilled to announce that OES has been recognised at the LearnX Awards yet again, with 10 incredible wins. This is a testament to the passion, innovation, and unwavering dedication of our global Learning Design and Multimedia teams. David Robertson, Director of Learning Design and several team members were at the ceremony to collect our awards. On reflection he said,    "Every day I feel so proud and grateful to work with all these incredible learning designers. Our core purpose is to empower students who may otherwise be disempowered; to provide opportunities to those where none may have previously existed; to serve a cohort of students who historically have been underserved and marginalised. As we approach the end of the work year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of the OES team throughout 2024. Your passion, dedication, and collaboration have been the driving force behind our success. Congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished! Together, we've done some fantastic work that has made a real difference, helping people access incredible education opportunities that will set them on the path to achieving their personal and professional dreams in 2025 and beyond. Arlene Stewart, Director of Academic and Operations (UK), recently joined the GFCC University Research and Leadership Forum, engaging in discussions on the future of higher education. Key insights from the day included the evolving role of universities beyond program delivery, the importance of collaboration with local industries, and the transformative potential of AI across all aspects of the student journey. It was agreed that today’s students demand flexibility and consumer-grade tech experiences, pushing universities to rethink their value proposition—focusing on what they are good for. This Workplace Giving Week, we’re highlighting OES's Workplace Giving Program, running since 2017, where OES matches employee donations dollar for dollar. We're proud to announce the successful launch of Aston Online in partnership with Aston University. This milestone is a key step towards delivering on OES’ vision to be the world’s most impactful enabler of education. With six programs now live and 12 more set to launch over the next year, Aston Online is expanding access to flexible, high-quality education in Science, Technology, and Enterprise.
