Updates

  • Peddle Thorp Architects recently marked a significant milestone—40 years of delivering architectural excellence—with a memorable celebration at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts on Bourke Street. As a venue designed by our own team, it provided the ideal backdrop for an evening shared with valued clients, partners, and associates. The evening began with Socrati Seretis warmly welcoming our guests and introducing our new director, Robert Page, who extended heartfelt thanks to our partners for their ongoing support and highlighted the exciting opportunities and vision shaping the future of Peddle Thorp Architects. We are proud of the legacy we’ve built and look forward to continuing our journey of innovation and collaboration. Here’s to the next chapter!

  • Breaking Ground on Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation Centre. We're thrilled to share that the soil turning ceremony for the Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation Centre has marked an exciting milestone! Designed by Peddle Thorp Architects for the Surf Coast Shire Council, this project represents a significant investment in the health, wellbeing, and community spirit of the region. With its name derived from the Wadawurrung language, meaning "big gathering place," the Wurdi Baierr Centre will provide world-class facilities that celebrate inclusivity and connection. From state-of-the-art aquatics to multi-purpose recreation spaces, the centre will cater to all ages and abilities. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this vision a reality. We’re proud to be part of a project that will leave a lasting legacy for the community. Stay tuned for more updates as the Wurdi Baierr Centre comes to life!

  • Peddle Thorp Architects had a great time showcasing our studio to the talented members of Design Student Society (DES)! Our Director, Robert Page, along with Architectural Graduate, George Avraam and Project Leader, Mahita K., led an insightful tour that unveiled the creativity and innovation behind some of Melbourne’s most iconic landmarks we designed. The students explored our design process, learned about the team’s vision, and saw firsthand how we shape the city through architecture.
