  • Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now On International Human Rights Day, we commemorate the landmark Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), which set out, for the first time in 1948, the fundamental human rights to be universally protected. The document has been translated into 500 languages and is regarded as the inspiration for many other human rights treaties. This year’s theme, ‘Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now’, reminds us that human rights are about building the future – right now. Each of us is an inspiring force to fight against harm and create a world that is fairer, more equal, and free from violence. #OurRightsOurFuture #HumanRightsDay

  • Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), an important day to raise awareness and understanding of people with disabilities and acknowledge their invaluable contributions to our communities. It is a reminder of the challenges they continue to face - barriers to accessibility, discrimination, and unequal opportunities. It is a call to action for us to break down barriers and build a more inclusive world where no one is left behind, and everyone has the chance to thrive. #IDPwD2024 #IDPD #DisabilityRights #Inclusion
