Flashback to 1991 when Police Bank opened its Branch at the Goulburn Academy, thanks to the support of Commissioner John Avery. From day one, we've been right there with NSW cadets, supporting their journey as they train to serve our community. Now, as we celebrate 60 years of service, our commitment to supporting those who protect and serve remains as strong as ever.

Housing affordability is at a breaking point in Australia. Even essential workers—those who protect, heal, and educate us—are being priced out of living near their workplaces.   This is more than a housing issue; it’s a community issue. For the past 3 years, we’ve partnered with HOPE Housing to tackle this challenge head-on. HOPE’s innovative shared equity model provides affordable, secure housing solutions, helping to make homeownership a reality for those who need it most.   Together, we’re driving real change to help ensure that essential workers and vulnerable Australians have access to stable housing—a critical foundation for stronger, safer communities.   We’re proud to support HOPE Housing and look forward to making an even bigger impact in the year ahead. Last week Police Bank celebrated 60 incredible years of serving and supporting our policing community. Founded by police officers for police officers, our journey began with a simple mission: to provide financial services to those who serve and protect. It’s been an amazing journey, and none of it would have been possible without our dedicated members, staff, and partners.    We’re committed to continuing our mission of serving those who serve and protect our community with their financial needs. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone. Here’s to another 60 years of partnership, progress, and community!

Congratulations to Martha Jabour OAM, awarded the 2025 NSW Local Hero at the NSW Australian of the Year awards.   Martha’s work with the Homicide Victims Support Group has made a profound impact on countless families, offering strength, support, and hope during the most challenging times. It is incredible to see her dedication and unwavering commitment recognised at this level.   A special acknowledgment also goes to Inspector Amy Scott VA, whose bravery and dedication to the community earned her a nomination for the 2025 NSW Australian of the Year. Her commitment to serving our communities is a credit to all in law enforcement.   Congratulations to Martha, Inspector Scott, and all the other exceptional nominees and award recipients!

Today, we pause to honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. We stand with our community in remembering those who gave everything to protect our way of life. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. This Remembrance Day, we pay tribute to the sacrifice of our servicemen and women, and all those who continue to serve. Lest we forget.
