The new Disability Employment Services (DES) performance scorecards have been released! These scorecards are designed to improve the transparency and accountability of employment service providers, ensuring that people with disability have access to high-quality support. https://lnkd.in/gtmHpAqq The new framework assesses providers on three key performance indicators: 🔑 Quality 💪 Effectiveness ⚡ Efficiency The results are clear that over 90% of providers are meeting or exceeding expectations which is a huge win for both employment service providers and participants! As Minister Amanda Rishworth said, "The scorecards give providers, employers and participants as well as the general public a very clear picture of what is expected of providers and how they are stacking up." We congratulate all the providers who are delivering excellent service to people with disability and we look forward to seeing these scorecards evolve over time. If you’d like to discuss your scorecard performance, don’t hesitate to contact us. 👉Read the Minister’s media release: https://lnkd.in/gNJ_XiDC #Disabilityemployment #DESscorecards #Disabilitysupport #Prospert #DES

📣Great to be at the National Employment Services Association Conference and connect with so many employment service professionals! A highlight was the presentation by Alia Kamlani from Deloitte on Global Trends in Public Employment Services (PES). Alia shared valuable insights into the changing factors influencing Workforce Policy and the evolving landscape of employment supports. She outlined key trends that are common across jurisdictions and discussed how PES organisations can navigate these shifts. Some of the key takeaways included: ✅Adapting to labour market demands ✅Tackling social challenges for a fairer labour market ✅Leveraging technologies to transform service delivery ✅Supporting economic resilience ✅Anticipating more change. It's clear that as the landscape shifts, there's an opportunity to enhance how we support workforce development on a global scale. Excited to explore more of these trends and how they apply to our work! #NESACONF24 #globaltrends #deloitte #publicemploymentservices

🤝It’s International Volunteer Day and we want to acknowledge the incredible volunteers who make a real difference in our communities. At Prospert, we see firsthand how volunteers are the backbone of so many not-for-profit organisations, including those working to create employment opportunities for people facing barriers. Their time, skills and passion are helping drive our mission and support countless others. We’re also proud that many of our team members volunteer their time to causes close to their hearts. It’s a powerful reminder of how small acts of giving back can create lasting change. With millions of volunteers across Australia, the impact is huge and we’re grateful for every person who dedicates their energy to building stronger communities. 📣This International Day of People with Disability, we acknowledge the theme "Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future." Today, we celebrate the incredible partnerships between Disability Employment Service (DES) providers and employers, working together to build inclusive workplaces where people with disability thrive. While the unemployment rate for people with disability has improved, at 7.3%, (down from 10.3% in 2018) it remains too high – more than double the rate for people without disability (3.1%). DES providers and employers are working together to embrace the unique perspectives and diversity that comes from hiring people with disability. It’s not just about creating jobs, it’s about creating meaningful and sustainable employment that benefits both the individual and the organisation. #IDPwD2024 #DisabilityInclusion #DisabilityEmployment Disability Employment Australia
