Welcoming our first urgent care centre!    MediRecords is super excited to be supporting KINKAYA Health as they build a new family clinic from the ground up, in Osborne Park, Perth. Yesterday, MediRecords' Tim Pegler was on-site, meeting the team and seeing the clinic firsthand.   Kinkaya's team of GPs, nurses and paediatric and orthopaedic specialists will provide walk-in urgent care for sick children, with innovative models for follow-up family engagement.    We look forward to providing true cloud connectivity for Kinkaya's digital health records, when they open their clinic doors in April. #urgentcare #innovation #truecloud

News out of Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) -Transforming medication management - MedChart live at MidCentral! 👉 Electronic medication management system MedChart went live at MidCentral in November 2024. 👉 The new system is integrated with the NZ Universal List of Medicines (NZULM), NZ ePrescription Service (NZePS) and Medicines Data Repository (MDR). 👉 MidCentral has achieved integration between Dedalus solutions ePharmacy and MedChart, leading to significant efficiencies. 👉 Early results show the systems are saving 16-27 minutes per patient on inpatient medication management and 1.5 minutes per patient on locating medicines. 👉 The time taken to complete the initial pharmacy review has been reduced by up to 110 mins per patient. 👉 Regular medication reviews have reduced on average by six minutes per patient and discharges by around 33 minutes per patient.
