🌟 **Celebrating Diversity in Aviation & Tourism** 🌟   Last week, Quest Breakfast Creek had the privilege of attending the BNE Enterprise Business Breakfast: "Strength in Diversity" at the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre, which focused on the future of Queensland's aviation and tourism sectors.   We were fortunate to hear from our esteemed panelists: Samantha Carlton from Virgin Australia, Jane Dionysius from Brisbane Airport Corporation, Rachel Alaimoana from Flight Centre Travel Group, and Professor Tim Ryley from Griffith University. Their insights on integrating diversity and inclusion best practices into the workplace were invaluable.   A key takeaway from the discussion was the necessity of establishing a robust employee-led platform for cultural change. Encouraging staff to share their lived experiences is crucial for the development and successful implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.   At Quest Breakfast Creek, we are proud to contribute to workplace diversity in various ways. 🌟 Quest for a Cause - Quarter 2 Success! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that our Quarter 2 Quest for a Cause initiative has once again been a tremendous success! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we have raised a combined total of $4,606 for two outstanding charities: Sheltered by Grace and The Pyjama Foundation. These generous contributions have significantly impacted our chosen causes: Sheltered by Grace: The funds will cover 70 nights at their shelter, providing vital support and resources to individuals in need and helping them get back on their feet. The Pyjama Foundation: This donation will facilitate the training and recruitment of two new Pyjama Angels (mentors), ensuring that more children benefit from their invaluable support. With these contributions, we have now raised a total of $9,452 through our Quest for a Cause initiative. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who has supported our efforts. We're thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all! Our Quest for a Cause initiative in Quarter One has achieved something truly remarkable. Franchise owners Ben & Roberto kindly committed to donating $1 for every room booked asking guests as they check out to drop their key wallet into their chosen charity box, as a result Quest Breakfast creek managed to donate an incredible total of $4846! This significant sum will be distributed between two incredible organizations: BUSHKids and Angel Flight. Through our partnership with these amazing charities, we're able to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. With the help of our team and our guests, we're supporting five remote families in need of critical medical assistance, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve. Additionally, our contribution will also aid in the launch of a groundbreaking program at BUSHKids, specifically designed to support children diagnosed with ADHD. By investing in programs like these, we're not just making a financial impact, but we're also creating meaningful, lasting change in our community. We're immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to meet with representatives from both BUSHKids and Angel Flight. Their dedication and passion for their respective causes have been truly inspiring, and it's an honor to be able to support them in their vital work. For each choice made, Ben and Roberto will generously donate $1 to the chosen charity. In this quarter, we're proud to stand behind two outstanding organizations: BushKids and Angel Flights. 🙌 🌿 BushKids focuses on improving the lives of children at risk of poor health and educational outcomes, particularly in rural communities, fostering overall family well-being. ✈️ Angel Flights is dedicated to providing essential support to remote communities, ensuring they have access to vital resources and services.
