📣Hills & Coast Business Grant 2025 - OPENING SOON!! WHO SHOULD APPLY? The grant is open to all manufacturing businesses (undertaking a process of value-adding and/or the processing of raw materials or parts into finished goods) across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island. A STRONG APPLICATION TAKES PLANNING That’s why we’ve created a 4-point checklist to help you start preparing your application.  Here’s what you need to start thinking about: 1️⃣ FINALISE YOUR PROJECT Prepare a high-level breakdown of your project costs. Think about why you need this grant. What are the expected gains from the project? 2️⃣ GET YOUR QUOTES SORTED Start getting quotes organised. They need to be less than 3 months old. If available and competitive, local suppliers are preferred. 3️⃣ FINE-TUNE YOUR BUSINESS PLAN A clear business plan will strengthen your application and show how the grant will support your business growth. 4️⃣ HAVE YOUR FINANCIALS READY You’ll need to provide your latest profit and loss statement and a 2-year financial forecast to help us assess the financial position and viability your business <<< WATCH THIS SPACE >>> Full eligibility requirements and application details will be available once the program opens. 📢 We're super excited to share the news that the funding submission we collaborated on for a new Regional University Study Hub on Kangaroo Island has been successful - announced last week by Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education. This is a huge win for education and skills development on KI, helping reduce the number of obstacles locals face in participating in tertiary studies. Its also a great reward for our work to establish a business case, our community members who have advocated for better tertiary study options for some years, and the broader island community who participated in the community consultations. Just like the Fleurieu Study Hub at Victor Harbor which opened last year, the KI Study Hub will be operated by the Rural City of Murray Bridge, who also operate hubs at Murray Bridge and Berri.
