📢 We're super excited to share the news that the funding submission we collaborated on for a new Regional University Study Hub on Kangaroo Island has been successful - announced last week by Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education. This is a huge win for education and skills development on KI, helping reduce the number of obstacles locals face in participating in tertiary studies. Its also a great reward for our work to establish a business case, our community members who have advocated for better tertiary study options for some years, and the broader island community who participated in the community consultations. Just like the Fleurieu Study Hub at Victor Harbor which opened last year, the KI Study Hub will be operated by the Rural City of Murray Bridge, who also operate hubs at Murray Bridge and Berri. We're thrilled to have confirmation that our submission for a new study hub on Kangaroo Island has been given the green light 😊 Keep watching this space for more information and future updates! #regionaldevelopment #kangarooisland
You won’t need to search for a place to study in these locations for much longer. We’re opening more Regional University Study Hubs across the country. It’s all about bringing university closer to home for regional students.

Say hello to the newest faces on the RDA AHFKI board: Jordana Ashcroft O’Sullivan and Ellen Wundersitz, who each bring a wealth of local experience and a strong commitment to driving regional growth. We had the pleasure of welcoming them to the team in late 2024, where they attended their first board meeting and end of year lunch, as well as joining in on a team training session. With their new perspective and enthusiasm, we’re excited to have them on board to help us work on key projects for our region in the year ahead.
