This breathtaking view of the transmission line connecting the Wambo Wind Farm to the transmission network is a great reminder of what it takes to make renewable energy a reality. From there, clean energy flows into Queensland’s energy grid, powering homes and businesses across the Western Downs and beyond. As an early developer of the Wambo Wind Farm, we’re proud to have played a small role in bringing projects like this to life. While the incredible work to construct this 275kV dual-circuit line was expertly handled by the teams at Downer Energy & Utilities and Powerlink Queensland, we share in the pride of what this connection represents: teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to a sustainable future.
