Rhine Ruhr Pty Ltd is collaborating with MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) / Offshore Frontier Solutions to design and supply the separator internals for the gas compression module to be installed on ExxonMobil’s new floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel as part of the Uaru project in offshore Guyana. The FPSO, named “Errea Wittu”, will have a nameplate capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil production per day, with an associated gas treatment capacity of 540 million cubic feet of gas per day, and a water injection capacity of 350,000 barrels per day. Rhine Ruhr specializes in designing scrubber internals which are an integral component of separation systems for oil and gas processing facilities.

Introducing Rhine Ruhr Pty Ltd's DynaMesh Mist Eliminator, a key component in the Cooling and Separation method of hydrogen production. This process involves cooling the gas, leading to the condensation of water vapor into liquid droplets. These droplets are efficiently captured by our wire mesh mist eliminator. Our mist eliminator works by offering a large surface area to the gas stream. The fine liquid droplets in the gas stream collide with the wire mesh, coalesce, and form larger droplets. These larger droplets, due to their increased weight, separate from the gas stream under gravity and are collected in a drain. The result? We are celebrating a significant milestone! 🥳 On May 2023, our FPSO Almirante Barroso MV32 reached its first oil. This giant of the sea has been a source of production records and great pride for us. 🛳 This is the fifth FPSO deployed in the Búzios field, and it is the first production unit chartered for the region. The Búzios field is located 180 km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, in the "pre-salt" region of the Santos Basin, at a water depth of approximately 1,900 m. 🌊 The FPSO is capable of processing 150,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 212 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, 240,000 barrels of water injection per day, and has a minimum storage capacity of 1.4 million barrels of crude oil. 🛢 Our thanks to the teams whose dedication and commitment contributed to this successful year! 🤜🤛 :: Estamos celebramos um marco significativo! 🥳 Em maio de 2023, nosso FPSO Almirante Barroso MV32 alcançava o primeiro óleo.
