About us

The RFDS is a national, charitable, health organisation delivering primary healthcare and 24-hour emergency services for those that live in rural and remote Australia. Long known as one of the largest aeromedical organisations in the world, the RFDS delivers health care where mainstream health services are not available, using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology and a broad-reaching ground-service fleet. Supported by a vast number of volunteers and supporters, the RFDS provides a lifeline for those that live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia, and has been doing so for over nine decades.

  • It was a pleasure to join the Isuzu UTE Australia mid-year town hall event, where we had the opportunity to provide our Major National Partner with deeper insights into the wide range of services we offer. We are honoured to have had Dr Tim Driscoll, Elizabeth Doran and Dr Stevie Dilley represent our organisation for the panel discussion. They shared their unique roles, the challenges they face, and their motivation to work for the RFDS. This was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the many services we deliver in Australia. Thank you to the Isuzu UTE team for having us! Photo credit: Isuzu UTE Australia
