2024 Year in Review - January Kicking off the year, Royal Wolf made waves at the Australian Open with our largest-ever shipping container structure! This remarkable engineering feat supported Australia’s biggest video screen, measuring 36m wide and 10m high, providing optimal views for over 90,000 fans. Our Melbourne team expertly designed a solution made up of 84 containers, stacked to create prime vantage points while also housing kiosks, lunchrooms, and support facilities. This year’s project showcased our commitment to innovation, overcoming engineering challenges to ensure stability and safety, all while enhancing the visitor experience. “A once in a lifetime experience” was how District Sales Manager Neville Combrinck and Business Development Manager Jessica Cramb described meeting kiwi chick Wolfie. As part of Royal Wolf’s community partnership with Save the Kiwi, Neville and Jess had the honour, and very important job, of transporting Wolfie and one of his fluffy friends from Taupō to their temporary new home at the Napier kiwi creche. Before heading to Napier, they spent the morning at the Gallagher Insurance New Zealand Kiwi Burrow to see some of the hands-on work Save the Kiwi does to hatch and rear the next generation of kiwi.
