🌊 Exploring New Horizons with Clontarf Foundation 🌞🐠 Red Cat Adventures & Wildcat Mackay welcomed nine students and three teachers from the Clontarf Foundation aboard Wildcat for an unforgettable Outer Reef Snorkelling Adventure! 🚤✨ Hailing from inland Australia, some of these students experienced their very first boat trip and discovered the wonders of snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. 🌊🐟 Their enthusiasm and curiosity were truly inspiring! 🔥🚤 Annabelle Rankin to the Rescue! 🚤🔥 A huge shoutout to Dylan Jones and Eric Ho from our SeaLink Sydney Harbour team for their quick thinking and outstanding efforts in handling a potentially dangerous situation. 🙌 The duo sprang into action to assist a recreational craft that caught fire beneath Sydney Harbour Bridge on Monday morning, deploying fire hoses from the Annabelle Rankin to suppress the blaze before emergency services could arrive. 🌊 Inspiring the Next Generation 🌟 SeaLink North Queensland recently welcomed students from the Clontarf Foundation and HEATLEY SECONDARY COLLEGE to explore our North Queensland operations. 👨🎓 Clontarf Foundation: Twenty Year 12 students from NSW’s North-West region visited us as part of their graduation trip. 🏝 Heatley Secondary College: Fifteen students from Years 8, 9, and 10 stopped by before heading to their school camp on Palm Island. 🦎 Gladstone Goanna Gets a Lift! 🚤 When a goanna found itself in hot water—well, tidal trouble—our quick-thinking SeaLink Gladstone crew stepped in to lend a friend a helping claw! 🐾 Spotted struggling in the tide near RG Tanna Coal Terminal with no land in sight, the goanna made a beeline for the bow after the vessel slowed. With some expert hook and rescue skills, the deckhand brought the little adventurer safely aboard. 🛟 The goanna hitched a ride in true VIP style until we reached the island. 🕶️ Though coaxed to return to the rocks, the scaly stowaway decided to dock and roll off the gangway instead. 🛳️ A huge shoutout to the Gladstone team for their brilliant customer service, even for our reptilian mates.
