Local supplies for healthcare abroad! When a GP at one of our valued customer's practices approached us asking if there was anything we could donate for her medical volunteer trip to North India, we didn't hesitate. We want to empower care providers to deliver better patient outcomes everywhere they go, whether that be a 20 minute drive or 20 hour flight. We hope these donated pulse oximeters, BP monitors, stethoscopes, and nebuliser go a long way for the local community hospital where Dr Sieh is visiting as we speak.

Keeping up with the team! SSS Australia was recently given the opportunity to sponsor a suture education evening for some of the registrars, nurses, and doctors at our partners Queensland Institute of Dermatology. Chris was excited to attend and ended up having a fun evening of learning different suture techniques and the benefits of different types of sutures. It's almost the Holiday Season! SSS Australia will remain open throughout the holiday period with some small changes. We will only be closed on public holidays: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day. We will be operating all other days with skeleton teams in both our office and warehouse between 24 Dec and 2 Jan. We will be back up and running at full capacity from Monday 2 January 2025. To ensure your facility is covered for the holiday period, we suggest stocking up on your essentials in late November.

Keeping up with the team! Whitney and Michelle have been busy assisting valued customers to implement ordering and cost saving efficiencies so they can get back to doing what they do best - providing better patient outcomes. If you want to discuss how SSS Australia can #DoMoreForYou, contact the Personal Account Manager who looks after your area today: ⭐ https://lnkd.in/gCrEjA56 ⭐ https://lnkd.in/gcZ2jCE3
There's nothing like a day on the tools! Michelle & I spent the day in the depths of a valued customer's stock room, organising, labelling and setting par levels for all of their #medicalconsumables. It's hard work, but it is nothing compared to what the Nurses and practice staff go through on a daily basis trying to manage all off this themselves while also executing the rest (and arguably far more critical part) of their roles. This customer is implementing SSS Australia's Stock Management Tool to bring efficiencies and cost savings. They will do this through: 👉 having a quick and efficient method to raise orders 👉 deciding on and maintaining a "white list" of their preferred products, and sticking to it 👉 minimising wastage by using FIFO 👉 preventing over ordering by only ordering up to their par level There's nothing better than time in the field! #DoesMoreForYou

A huge thank you to our wonderful partners Brisbane South Private Hospital for hosting our quarterly team conference in their beautiful new facilities in Springwood last week. We were treated to a tour of the state of the art facility by Alyce, which was incredibly valuable for our team in learning how to better support our customers. If you're looking for an event space on the Brisbane Southside, we highly recommend contacting the Brisbane South Private Hospital.

We teased a couple of weeks ago a change was coming, and it is finally here! After nearly two decades, we're thrilled to introduce a new look that reflects our growth and evolution. Our decision to refresh our brand is not merely about keeping up with trends; it’s about staying true to our core values while adapting to the evolving landscape of our industry. It’s about ensuring that our brand accurately reflects our identity, ambitions, and commitment to our customers and to each other. Not only is the “mark” our three Ss (trivia: born from our original name - South Side Surgical!), it also visually represents a number of other elements to who we are, including: 🔗 A Chain - the Ss link together to form a chain, which symbolises the important part we play in the supply chain of the products we sell. We sit between the manufacturers and the end users, and without us, the end users may not be able to access the products they need. 🧬 DNA - the Ss loosely resemble a double helix, which is the physical structure of DNA. Not only does this represent our connection to science through healthcare, but it also represents our commitment to our DNA as a company. ♾️ SSS - of course, our mark is our three Ss, symbolising our company name, and our heritage from our humble beginnings as South Side Surgical, through to SSS Australia. We hope the new branding resonates with you!
