Australia's most advanced offshore wind project.

About us

The Star of the South is Australia's most advanced offshore wind project, proposed off the coast of Gippsland in Victoria. If developed to its full potential Star of the South would provide up to around 20% of Victoria’s energy requirements while creating jobs and investing in the local economy. The project is currently in the feasibility stage. The Star of the South is being progressed by local Australian developers, along with expert offshore wind partners, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Copenhagen Offshore Partners. Our goal is to secure Australia's long-term energy needs in an environmentally-friendly and sustainable way. Rules of engagement: We welcome your feedback and participation on this page.
