😊 What a memorable night to co-mc, which iterates why I created p3 studio which partners with people to deliver on your purpose! ❌ To believe we do not need people at all, is deny the very thing that is against our humanity. In the animal kingdom humans have the longest period of vulnerability then any other creature, lucky kids are cute (at times). A child is unable to fend and look after themselves until much later on, this doesn’t really change, we continue to grow through partnerships both personally and professionally. 🤝 Partnership is one step further from networking, its an opportunity to co- share your brand, your community, your social capital and resources to create a collaborative impact to both or more parties goals. ☝ Here is a snapshot of some of the many takeaways (il keep it short for this post, reach out for more) ⭐Firstly does it make sense? Is there overall alignment in terms of goals, target audience, messaging, values? ( ask yourself do I want this person/brand to meet my clients/network? - Do your homework) ⭐Consider sweat partnership and integrity in your decision making - view your partnership as a long term venture based on trust and as tempting as the dollar signs are, you could lose much more if you compromise (e.g. Sydney Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras does this so well with an ethical partner charter, well done Canva) ⭐Sponsorship is one way to partner but it doesn’t have to be the only way, you can find other creative ways to leverage your reach (Soho House & Co house partnering with ARIA - Australian Recording Industry Association, Barbie ® with all the things, co-hosting with forever projects) ⭐Have fun and experiment! Love the example of Heaps Normal and Who Gives A Crap toilet paper (most popular beer - so Aussie) ⭐In terms of showing commercial value - partner across your organisation to showcase value including your CFO e.g. PR media spend value, how much would this press normally cost? What was the uptake of your product/service post campaign?
