People at the centre of technology - was the panel headline. Yesterday I combined work and play. As MC and panelist speaker at the Forge Summit we discussed the role of people in technology. Mark Belkin and Tal Evans -provided some deep insights as both have run multiple, complex IT projects and implementation. Having a customer success manager who's job it is to help the clients team with the human (read feelings) aspect and adding empathy and understanding of how each team member interacts with ideas and learning was the key takeaway. The good news - you just have to be congruent with the values you've written on the wall and your website and your staff will stay engaged, motivated and willing to adapt. Break those rules and loyalty and co-operation disappears.
