About us

STRI Group is the leading global design, research, and consultancy specialist for professional sports surfaces. Established in the UK in 1929, our aim was to provide research and advisory services for golf clubs on their greens and courses. In 2015, STRI acquired SportsTurf Consultants- the industry leader in the Australian Sports Turf market since 1992. Our geo-environmental design consultancy focuses on contaminated land and sustainable water management through our sister company EPG, which became a part of the STRI Group in 2020. Our expertise broadened into football, rugby, horse racing, blended natural and artificial turf, wider amenities, and infrastructures, including geo-environmental design consultancy services for contaminated land and sustainable water management. We work with the world’s most iconic sports venues, providing recommendations to a widely spread clients base of over 2,000. We have been successfully delivering sustainable and environmental solutions for sporting facilities and residential, corporate, and commercial space, public non-housing and civils and infrastructure sectors.
