Anyone feeling feeling exhausted and under the pump? It's a busy time of year for grants, so 👀 we're sharing daily tips to help you get to the finish line.
Tip # 3 - Look into the funder so you can better understand what drives them. Is it a specific policy? Is it a legacy? What problems are they interested in and what is their actual giving history? For example, we've assessed international grant programs that sound fantastic on paper but a closer look shows that Australian organisations are eligible but rarely chosen for funding. Another example is programs that support Australian charities, but their maximum grant value is significantly less than some of our clients want to apply for. Based on this research and other information, you can make an informed decision about whether the opportunity is worthwhile to invest in.
