Well done to these happy proposal professionals who completed our APMP Foundation workshop online with Nigel Dennis last week. This group attended from across NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, and even Singapore! Congratulations to the ten participants who passed their exam at the conclusion of the workshop, earning the globally recognised APMP Foundation certification on Thursday. And for the eleventh participant, who opted to sit the exam later this week, we wish you the best of luck. This latest cohort brings our total to 53 individuals we’ve helped to earn this certification in 2024 alone – and more than 400 since we first began delivering the workshops in 2014. And as an APMP ANZ Chapter Accredited Training Organisation (ATO), this is not the only certification training we provide! If you’ve already achieved APMP Foundation certification and have 3+ years of bidding experience under your belt, it might be time for the next step. Our final APMP Practitioner training workshop for 2024 still has spaces available. Find out more and register here: https://hubs.la/Q02YhXF70 #ProudtobeAPMP

Last Wednesday, BidWrite’s Nigel Dennis and Mark Riley CPP APMP attended the inaugural Australian AI Awards black tie gala at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Nigel was shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘AI Leader of the Year – SME’ award, and our AI-powered tendering platform BidWriteGPT was selected as a finalist in the ‘AI Innovator – Media & Communication Service’ category. Although we didn’t take home either award on the night, Nigel and Mark thoroughly enjoyed an evening spent celebrating all the professionals and businesses who are at the cutting edge of AI transformation across Australia. It was a real privilege to be recognised alongside such a high calibre of innovative, forward-thinking businesses. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners, and our sincere thanks to organisers Momentum Media for such an enjoyable awards event.

Late last month, BidWrite's David Lunn and CreditSource Pty Ltd CEO Shavantha Mallawa delivered three Industry Capability Network Tasmania commissioned workshops to SMEs in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. Presented by ICN Tasmania and Business Tasmania from the Department of State Growth, with support from the Advanced Manufacturing and Defence Industries team, the workshops covered: ✔️ the art and science of how to write irresistible tender submissions ✔️ the financial assessments conducted by tender evaluation teams, and how you can prepare for these in advance ✔️ why ICN’s Gateway platform is an essential business development tool ✔️ the range of state government support services available to help Tasmanian businesses grow We’re delighted that these workshops achieved an overall 4.8 (out of 5) satisfaction rating from participants. Here’s what some had to say: 💬 “The speakers provided a lot of useful information and were happy to answer questions as we went along.” 💬 “[My key takeaways were] learning more about tender formats and financial risk assessments.” 💬 “I really enjoyed the insights into tender writing. The information around ICN was also fantastic.” Our thanks to Bruno Ferreira, Kelly Brown and the teams from ICN Tasmania and Business Tasmania for their vision and hard work in bringing these workshops to life. Thanks also to Shavantha Mallawa from strategic partner CreditSource for providing such valuable insights into the tender evaluation process. We’ve always held the view that a compelling tender submission document is only one contributor to sustained tendering success, and it was great to have the opportunity to help ambitious Tasmanian SMEs see what the broader picture looks like.
