In 2024, we ran our second Content Summit Australia, grew our team to 15, and worked on some truly special projects. That does impress me, much! Late last year, TCD Account Director, Elise Biddle, and Content Lead, Rohan Williams, took part in the Marketing Week Mini MBA in Marketing with Professor and brand marketing genius, Mark Ritson. Feeling like he needed a challenge on top of his already hefty workload, Rohan also took on the optional end-of-course exam. And not to brag (okay, we're totally bragging) but Rohan landed in the top 10 globally out of 1,872 participants, tying sixth place! So frankly, yes we do have genius marketers here, in case you didn't already know. Congrats to Elise and Rohan for completing the course – and thanks in advance for sharing your new found wisdom with the rest of our team (teehee strategy session incoming 😉).

Hi! It's us, Kurt and Brittanie, with an important update. 👋 When we co-founded The Content Division back in 2017, it was just the two of us – colleagues and mates, fresh out of Brisbane Marketing, with big ideas about how to help businesses tell their stories. Fast forward eight years, and TCD has grown into something bigger than either of us imagined: we have an incredible team of 15, an industry-leading event up our sleeves, and countless projects we’re so proud of. But with growth comes change, and today, we’re sharing some big news. After much reflection, Kurt has made the exciting (and bittersweet) decision to step away from TCD. Brittanie will continue to lead the team as we enter the next phase of TCD’s journey. While we'll miss Kurt's leadership, vision, and impeccable office banter, we're so excited for him as he takes this next step to focus on his own ventures. There will absolutely be a Kurt-shaped hole in our office culture, but we know this decision is the right one for him. And he’s not disappearing entirely – you’ll still see him around consulting on strategy, and (of course) MC’ing Content Summit Australia 2025. To Kurt, from all of us: Thank you for everything.
