Santa's Sleigh reimagined – Aussie and Kiwi style! We worked with LEGO ANZ to celebrate the power of play and creativity this festive season, inviting kids to redesign Santa's Sleigh for summer. From a bilby-powered four-wheel drive to a swamp strider and tractor sleigh, their designs were brought to life in a new Christmas story and large scale LEGO builds. In New Zealand, the LEGO Group turned Kiwi kids Aston and Ruby’s sleigh into an amazing ride-able float which debuted at the Auckland Farmers Santa Parade. While in Australia, six kids' sleigh designs were turned into LEGO brick builds, unveiled at the AG LEGO® Certified Stores in Pitt Street Mall. Our Thrive Studio team of Santa's Elves worked busily behind the scenes to help bring together the pages of Santa's Summer Sleigh, a children's story written and illustrated by beloved author Sophie Beer, and featuring the designs of kids. We also turned the digital book into an audiobook for everyone to enjoy, with a special version of the story narrated in te reo Māori - a first for the LEGO Group! It was a privilege to host Rowan Crothers OAM in the Thrive PR + Communications Brisbane office this week.
