Mayor Gary Mack, Cr Michael Le Page, Cr Kate Barlow, Cr Gavin Foley, Kate Chaney MP, Mrs Elise Jarman, and City Beach Primary students, laid wreaths as a mark of respect for those who served and sacrificed. Last Wednesday, on 23 October 2024, we celebrated three decades of community, growth, and green spaces at the Town of Cambridge at a special civic function hosted at the stunning Quarry Amphitheatre. 🎉 The gathering brought together former and current Elected Members, Administration staff, and key stakeholders to reflect on the Town’s journey since its establishment on 1 July 1994. 🤝 Dignitaries in attendance included Member for Churchlands Christine Tonkin MLA (representing the Premier Hon Roger Cook MLA; Deputy Premier Hon Rita Saffioti MLA and Minister for Local Government Hannah Beazley MLA), Independent Member for Curtin Kate Chaney, Town of Victoria Park Mayor Karen Vernon and the Lord Mayor of the City of Perth, the Right Honourable Basil Zempilas. 🏛️ With over 40% of land dedicated to green spaces, we’re proud to have shaped a Town that prioritises residents, supports local businesses, and ensures a sustainable future.
