Established in 2004, Codicote is named after the historic village in Hertfordshire, England, where the company’s founder and managing director, Dave Jenkins, was born. Codicote today is comprised of a highly motivated and passionate team of construction professionals with extensive experience as on-site builders, working to support clients across diverse geographical locations, both in Australia and abroad. The Codicote team consists of builders, construction planners and client project managers with several decades of experience with major companies including Westfield, Concrete Constructions, Lendlease, Multiplex, Leighton, Mace Group, Walton, Balfour Beatty, Costain and Wimpey Engineering & Construction. Prior to founding Codicote, Dave Jenkins worked in construction for Tier One builders for 25 years. The Codicote team’s extensive experience at the building coalface and solid understanding of construction technology and processes are at the core of the unique position we occupy as a specialist service for developers, builders and trade contractors. The boutique nature of our business allows us to focus on selective clients and commitments. AdvanCell is a radiopharmaceutical company that has leveraged many years of painstaking research and development to create a platform technology and develop a portfolio of Targeted Alpha Therapies that aims to revolutionise cancer treatment globally. Codicote has had the privilege of partnering with AdvanCell to develop the initial stages of their advanced ISO & GMP-certified radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and research facility in Brisbane. Working closely with G3Lab as the main contractor, the project transformed part of the 4,000m2 facility to incorporate manufacturing, QA, cleanroom, long-term storage, and packing and dispatch areas. The project was split into two stages, both of which were delivered on time and within budget. Codicote is excited to have been a part of a project that aims to have a huge positive impact on the lives of so many people. Given the announcements over the weekend from the #AllanLabor Government about finding room for #morehomes for Victorians, it's wonderful to see Australian Unity short-listed as a bidder for the #ArdenPrecinct in North Melbourne today. Australian Unity submitted an expression of interest earlier this year with Formus Property, Community Housing Ltd, Lyons and Codicote and took great care to present a vision for the precinct that turns this landmark Melbourne site into a vibrant, prosperous, and inclusive community. We know from experience that when we invest in high quality shared spaces we get sustainable returns for the long-term. Such precincts can support local communities to develop connection and support people’s #wellbeing. These places also improve health outcomes and create significant economic and community benefits, which is what bridging the #socialinfrastructure gap is all about. While there is still a long way to go in the process, the news has put a huge spring in our step and we look forward to working with Development Victoria on the next, detailed RFP stage. Chung Tian Temple - Main Shrine Bringing to fruition a 30yr master plan, Shadforth has been engaged by IBAQ as the Early Works Contractor to carry out bulk earthworks and construction of a 7m high retaining wall along the site boundary. The team has been hard at work over the last month, transforming the exisiting site to facilitate the Foundation Laying Ceremony this weekend. Today Greystar marked the topping out of one of Australia’s largest Build to Rent (BTR) projects in the premier Melbourne inner-city suburb of South Yarra. Located less than four kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD in the highly sought after suburb of South Yarra, the AU$500 million development is Greystar’s second BTR project in Australia to reach completion in the past four months. Victorian Planning Minister Sonya Kilkenny and Southern Metropolitan Melbourne Labor MP John Berger joined Greystar Australia’s Managing Director Matt Woodland, alongside project partners and other industry stakeholders at an event to mark the milestone and its significance for the local industry and community.
