  • Feral deer are trashing and trampling Victoria’s landscapes, from Wilsons Prom to Mount Bogong. They degrade waterways, spread weeds and diseases and cause serious damage to sensitive areas like alpine fens and rainforest. Yet they're listed as protected wildlife in Victoria. Why? Join us at our upcoming webinar at 6:30pm on Thursday 21 November to find out more about the damage feral deer are causing and what we can do to stop it.   Register to come along > https://lnkd.in/gDRquk62   Photo supplied by Alex Maisey

  • Join us for a webinar about Victoria's unique grassy meadows and how you can get involved in their protection. You might’ve seen them alongside the highways heading west out of Melbourne. To the untrained eye, they can look like empty paddocks. But these fields are rich volcanic grasslands.   They once stretched from the Yarra/ Birrarung to South Australia. But since colonisation, 99% of our grasslands have been cropped, ploughed or bulldozed. Now, they're critically endangered.   Explore the grassy plains of Victoria with us at 6pm on Wednesday 6 November. Find out more and RSVP >   https://lnkd.in/gSjenpb5

  • Dingoes are misunderstood, majestic apex predators. They’re a fundamental part of our intricate web of life.
