YourLand was proud to recently host a Diwali celebration for our Seventh Bend community, bringing residents and visitors together for a lively day filled with cultural activities and community connection.   The event featured a high-energy performance from Bhangra Roots dance school, setting the stage for a day of fun. It was fantastic to see so many attendees, and everyone enjoying the arts and crafts, Diwali hand art, henna, face painting, and giant games. Thanks to our suppliers, our event agency The Perfect Events Group; Mr Barista, for serving freshly brewed coffee; and Two Fat Indians and Shiva Indian food trucks for the array of delicious food.   The celebration reflected the joy and spirit of Diwali and, as you can see from the photos, it was a fun-filled day with a vibrant atmosphere, making it a memorable event for all.

🎉 We are thrilled to announce the recipients of YourLand's Employee Excellence Awards! These individuals were nominated by their colleagues for making an outstanding impact at YourLand. 🏆 The Innovation Award was presented to Jessica Lochrie, Senior Marketing Manager. Jessica has introduced numerous digital and CRM enhancement initiatives that have significantly improved the marketing and sales team's reporting and planning capabilities, as well as enhanced customer communications. 🌟 The Values Award went to Aida Kubat, Sales Consultant, who consistently demonstrates our values of Integrity, Diligence and Customer Service. Aida has set the standard for the sales team by ensuring accurate and complete customer data is inputted into our CRM. 🌍 The Sustainability Award was given to Anissa Zepeda, Executive Assistant, for her exceptional efforts in conserving natural resources and supporting the social wellbeing of the community and YourLand team. Anissa has championed sustainable behaviours such as leading recycling and waste management initiatives, organizing team-building events, and advocating for our Employee Assist Program. She has also dedicated a significant amount of time to collecting data to support our carbon-neutral certifications. The YourLand Developments team recently came together for our End of Financial Year event, an opportunity to celebrate our achievements, share insights into our vision for FY25 and beyond, and strengthen our connections with each other.   From engaging team bonding activities that sparked our competitive spirit (a special thanks to Be Challenged for facilitating) to meaningful conversations about our future, the day was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a renewed sense of purpose.   Thank you to everyone at YourLand for your valuable contributions.
