What a Year! Thank You, YPM Community! As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank you for being part of the YPM journey. This year has been full of growth, resilience, and incredible connections. Whether you’re a client, provider, or part of our amazing team, your trust and support make everything we do possible. Here’s to celebrating the wins, learning from the challenges, and looking ahead to a bright 2025 together. From all of us at YPM, we wish you a joyful festive season and a happy, healthy new year.

Your needs don’t take holidays. That’s why YPM staff will be available to help with any of your NDIS plan management needs throughout the festive period. Our physical office in Tweed Heads South, NSW, will close from Monday, 23 December 2024, to Friday, 3 January 2025. The office will reopen for regular operations on Monday, 6 January 2025. During this time, please be aware that claims may be delayed due to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) closure from the end of business on Tuesday, 24 December 2024, to Wednesday, 1 January 2025. The NDIA will resume regular operations on Thursday, 2 January 2025. We appreciate your patience during this period.

December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disability! This year’s theme: Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future celebrates the key role people living with a disability play in creating a more inclusive world. Show your support by advocating for accessibility, amplifying disabled voices, and encouraging inclusive spaces in your community. The YPM Office is closed from 1:30pm onwards today for an all-organisation end of year celebration. Provider payments will continue to be processed. Ordinary hours will resume tomorrow, Friday 15th of November from 9:00am - 5:00pm. See you then!

Lest We Forget.

This month, we've contributed the proceeds from our YPM4GOOD initiative to @hope_in_a_suitcaseasutralia Hope in a Suitcase Australia is a volunteer-run non-profit organisation dedicated to showing love and support to children entering the foster care system. They provide each child with their own suitcase, offering a secure place for their belongings and a symbol of care from the community as they navigate their journey. Today is World Mental Health Day. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness and put mental health in the spotlight. Today, we have the chance to start meaningful conversations about mental health and its challenges. This is an issue that touches each of us in different ways but can profoundly affect how we connect with the world. Take action today—reach out to someone, share your own experiences, or simply listen. Together, we can break the stigma and create a supportive environment where mental health is prioritized and understood.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY REMINDER Our Tweed Heads office will be closed on Monday, 7th of October to observe the Labour Day public holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, trading as usual. Enjoy the long weekend!

We are excited to announce we are moving to a new software platform called Kismet Navigator. We will use this software to process and pay all NDIS invoices. Kismet will give our clients & providers the same access plus more, here are a couple – just to name a few! - SMS Client Approvals - Downloadable Mobile App - Simplified Client Budget Reports - Provider Finder Marketplace We are confident that Kismet will improve our clients and provider's experience with us and we appreciate your cooperation and patience during this transition.
