They are currently looking for an Accountant to join their business on an a permanent basis.
The Role | Reporting to the Group Finance Manager
Duties Will Include
Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders;
Preparation of relevant journals, prepayments and accruals;
Completion of monthly general ledger reconciliations;
Completion of month-end and year-end accounts;
Ensure accurate allocation of costs;
Ensure accurate and up-to-date general ledger; and
Ad hoc tasks and process improvements as required.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified with an accounting or business background. You will have minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and have completed or are currently studying your CA/CPA. You will have exceptional communication skills, a strong eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Local experience is essential
Experience having worked in businesses from $80m - $150m TO preferred
Experience liaising with stakeholders from FMCG/Manufacturing/Construction or Retail Industries preferred
