The Role

Join our Finance team as Accounts Payable Officer (internally known as Finance Assistant) on a 12-month parental leave contract. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this position is based at Kieser’s National Clinic Support (NCS) office in South Melbourne and will be responsible for overseeing bookkeeping and administration activities across NCS office departments.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manage daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and expense claims.
  • Administer credit card and Corporate Traveller programs.
  • Oversee payment runs, remittances and supplier reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end processes, ensuring accurate financial reports.
  • Support the roll-out of the expense claim system and manage inboxes.
  • Support Financial Accountant and Head of Department with adhoc reporting and generalist finance tasks

This is a full-time role (Mon-Fri) with flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity.

Essential

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a given week and prioritise accordingly
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines at month end
  • Demonstrated accounts payable/receivable experience

Desirable

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a related role
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or related discipline
