Business Analyst - Utilities Asset and Billing

The Opportunity

Our client in the utilities sector is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for an initial 6-month engagement. The successful candidate will join a transformative project focused on enhancing asset management processes and customer billing systems.



The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and documentation of business processes, with a particular focus on water infrastructure asset management and customer billing systems. Your other responsibilities will include:

• Developing comprehensive process documentation, policies, and procedures for integration between Oracle ERP and CC&B/CCMB systems
• Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives in a waterfall project environment
• Providing expert guidance on process improvements and system optimization
• Driving the implementation of enhanced customer-focused solutions within the utility space
• Supporting the development and integration of asset management frameworks

About You

To excel in this role, you will have extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within government, corporate, or large enterprise environments. You will also have:

• Strong background in water utility systems, particularly Oracle ERP and CC&B/CCMB
• Demonstrated expertise in asset management and development, particularly within water infrastructure
• Experience with customer billing systems and related business processes
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a waterfall methodology
• Previous exposure to utility sector processes and policies is highly advantageous
