About the role

At Darche we're passionate about 'everything outdoor' and providing our consumers a fantastic in-store experience. An exciting opportunity for a Fulltime Customer Service Officer is now available at our Thomastown site.

This is a frontline customer service role, providing an exceptional experience for our customers whom are Campers and 4WD enthusiasts with all their Outdoor Adventure needs.

The Customer Service Officer will respond to phone customers for general product, sales and warranty enquiries, along with tracking order fulfilment through to dispatch and invoicing. The Role will also involve providing after-sales service to customers to ensure any product or service failures are managed within company policy in conjunction with the Sales and Development teams.

Prior Customer Service experience in a Customer Service Officer role in the 4X4 or Camping category would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided. The successful applicant will also be in phone contact with customers and suppliers (taking orders and arranging supply of product), therefore some experience with these functions is highly regarded

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Customer Service team member who is passionate about delighting customers and liaising with suppliers, seeking to grow their career, and can be relied upon to be an integral member of our team.

You may bring with you some experience from a sales/customer service, retail or hospitality background, but we are also interested in speaking to people who are keen to bring transferable skills.

The role requires someone who is responsible for the successful interaction with our customers and suppliers, including:

• Hands on, energetic & vibrant
• Ability to learn and demonstrate products
• Ability to co-ordinate customer and supplier orders.
• Contribute to a positive team environment
• Achieve and exceed KPI's
• Drive amazing customer service
• Excellent phone and personal communication skills
• Competent with computers, ability to work with Office suite of products such as Word, Excel and Power Point programs
