Data Analyst

My client is a leading EdTech SaaS vendor that is expanding rapidly across Australia. Their AI data driven software tools assist teachers in the student assessment process, allowing them to tailor specific programs for individuals and groups.

After a recent round of funding, they are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Melbourne and support the Sales & Customer Success teams. Your responsibilities will be generating insights from assessment data, creating engaging dashboards and visualizations, and ensuring CRM and datalake systems deliver business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights that support strategic objectives and improve educational outcomes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with business goals.
• Manage data sources, ensuring integrity, governance, and accessibility for reporting and analytics.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data trends to support client engagement and retention initiatives.

About You

• You have experience working with large datasets and are proficient in tools like SQL, Python, or R.
• You have a strong understanding of data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and can translate complex data into actionable insights.
• You are comfortable working with CRM data and business intelligence systems.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about the role data plays in transforming education.
• Previous ML/AI experience desirable.
