About The Opportunity
This role provides an opportunity to work in a supportive environment as you develop and hone your analytical skills. As part of a diverse team, you will have the opportunity to work on the management of infrastructure contribution plans and their vital projects. You will have direct input to bring to life the creation of community assets across Mitchell Shire. We pride ourselves on the great collaborative relationships with neighbouring councils, where there is also the opportunity to contribute to process improvements.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO. The total remuneration package on offer for this opportunity is $110K-$120K including superannuation depending on experience.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, town planning or related discipline with relevant experience in this field.
- Demonstrated experience relevant to the role and / or proven financial modelling and project management skills.
- A proven ability to understand, interpret and apply relevant legislation and policies in particular the requirements of Australian accounting standards and planning legislation and regulations.
- Prior experience of the application of Development Contribution Plans and their operation is an advantage but not a requirement.
