We are seeking a skilled and confident Bookkeeper to join our dynamic Accounting Practice, with offices in Montmorency and Doreen. This is a full-time position; however, we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
Our bookkeepers collaborate closely with our team of accountants in a friendly, supportive, and professional environment, serving a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations.
- Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS for clients.
- Manage client payroll & super guarantee contributions, ensuring compliance
- Handle inbound client calls and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist clients with software implementation and provide ongoing support.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Proficiency in Xero (Xero Adviser Certification is highly desirable)
- Experience with MYOB and QuickBooks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
