We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Brandbank Group.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial accounting activities across the group, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
The Role
Prepare management reports ensuring high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in the preparation of BAS returns, payroll tax, and Workcover.
Support month-end procedures including general ledger reconciliations and stock clearing accounts.
Provide documentation and support for annual audits with external partners.
Focus on process improvement and efficiency within accounting functions.
Liaise daily with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Retail experience will be highly regarded.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage projects, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding results.
