An exciting opportunity for a strong people leader to join an ASX where the head office is based here in Melbourne, open to Senior Big 4 / Mid tier Director levels wanting a first move out of a chartered or someone who has already moved across into Industry with the relevant group experience.

Job Description

This role is a key member of the corporate finance team working with the SLT team. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Preparing annual and half-year statutory accounts and other compliance-related documents.
• Monthly management and operational reporting for the group.
• Consolidation of group results, cashflow reporting, variance analysis and oversight of treasury.
• System enhancement and strengthening of the group's data analytics capabilities.
• Liaising with external auditors for preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance
• Manage, lead and develop the financial accounting team.
• Other ad hoc project related work.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will be CA / CPA qualified and have a minimum of ten years within chartered (Big 4 or Mid-tier) and/ or worked with or within an ASX company. Having held a senior leadership role in finance, you will be driven by system improvements and best practice. You will have a meticulous attention to detail and be technically astute across IFRS, statutory reporting and managing external audits. An ability to work autonomously and a deadline driven approach, you will be self-motivated and work well in a close-knit team environment. This role requires someone with a broad technical skillset that is happy to roll up their sleeves and be solutions focused but also operate at a high level. Strong communications, both verbal and written will also be essential for your success in this exciting role.
