Group Financial Controller

Randstad Senior Finance have been retained by a hyper-growth, ASX listed eCommerce company who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to strengthen their finance team.

This business has been growing at a rate in the triple digits and is eyeballing over $1bn revenue within the next year, having only been founded seven years ago. Located in Melbourne CBD, this role will breathe life into the financial control, financial reporting and governance and tax fuctions whilst building a world class finance team fit for the expected future growth to come

As Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for

• Financial Reporting (including all associated ASX reporting)
• Development and enhancement of the financial control environment and corporate governance framework
• Management of a small team of seven qualified accountants with a view of building this out further, to deliver a world class finance function, fit for purpose in a growing business
• Oversight of all core accounting areas - month end close, half year and year end close, cash-flow management
• Group Consolidations and multi-currency accounting
• Indirex Tax
• Process improvements with a view of automating non-value add processes where possible
• Support the delivery of an ongoing ERP implementation
• Continuous improvement as an ongoing concern
• Project Management as required by the CFO
  
  

To be successful in this role you will have

• A recognised accountancy qualification (CA with Big 4 background preferred but not necessary)
• Significant experience in financial controlling positions with a highly technical skillset
• ASX experience (Viewed very favourably and not a deal-breaker, rather a significant nice to have)
• Experience in a high growth organisation
• Experience in a multi-national business and exposure to multi-currency accounting
• People leadership experience with a desire to coach, mentor and develop those around you
• A solutions oriented mindset
• Exceptional communication skills
  
  

This role is based in Melbourne CBD but affords significant flexibility with WFH opportunities and is looking to start as soon as possible.
