THE OPPORTUNITY

The Hassett Group is proud to be partnering with La Marzocco Australia to source a highly motivated and commercially astute Head of Finance to lead their Finance team. This role is critical in driving the financial strategy and supporting the company’s growth while ensuring compliance with both local and global financial regulations.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, with a dotted line to the Global Financial Controller, the role will lead a team of high-performing and motivated finance professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth and profitability.
• Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Compliance: Manage all financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian and Italian regulations.
• Risk Management: Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure effective cash flow and liquidity management.
• Systems & Processes: Optimise financial and operational systems to enhance efficiency and cost management.
• Commercial Activities: Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive margin improvements.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on professional with a strong background in finance and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 8 years in management accounting and at least 4 years in a senior finance role.
• A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or fast-moving products.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to drive cultural and organisational development.
• Proficiency in finance-related systems, with SAP B1 & Salesforce being highly desirable.
