Job Description

As an Investment Analyst/Associate you will work closely with and support the Investment Director and the savvy Investment team. Due to their reputation & resourcefulness, the business has consistently secured high profile deals and plans to do many more!


Upon Successful Hire You Will Be

Initial project evaluation / deal structuring and negotiation.

Develop project financing strategy, modelling, cash flow forecasting and analysis.

Build, own and maintain project feasibility / funding models.

Assist with capital raises (REIT, wholesale investors, family offices) and related activities e.g. preparing Information Memorandums.

Drafting pitch materials, external presentations, investment memorandums, credit papers.

Assist with senior debt arrangement (land and construction finance) and related activities e.g. preparing credit submissions.

Run valuation process for projects as required - IRR, NPV, Pricing.

Stakeholder management - Major Banks, Property Development firms, Family Offices, Legal firms.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Ideally 2-4 years' experience in Institutional Property Team (or similar)

Potentially gained in property / structured finance team of senior bank, private real estate investment firm, real estate team of an investment bank, property / credit / special situations fund, real estate / infrastructure / corporate finance team in a chartered advisory firm etc.

Ideally exposure across mezzanine debt or preferred equity, principle equity investment / joint venture structuring.

Project managing transactions / stakeholder management with other functions (e.g. marketing, legal, finance)

Experience in drafting pitch materials, external presentations, investment memorandums, credit papers.

Solid financial modelling and analytical skills (high attention to detail)

Strong work ethic, disciplined, initiative, time management, ability to work on multiple tasks at once in a generally fast paced environment.


Education / Qualifications

Business / commerce degree.

Postgraduate studies will be looked upon favourably.
