The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnerships & Growth, the role is responsible for day-to-day management of our important retail partner accounts. The role is primarily focused on key stakeholder management at the client Head Office level and ensuring the delivery of growth plans.


The role is responsible for driving sales and profitability across the partners within your portfolio. You will work in partnership with your key stakeholders on new products and program initiatives, ensuring that delivery and execution results in optimal sales outcomes.

You will ensure we deliver value through our core products such as: Extended Warranties, Mobile Protection, Trade-in program, and repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage partner relationships across the business divisions day-to-day and implement short, medium, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Drive program performance and development through constant oversight and scheduled reviews, sales growth initiatives, customer service level monitoring, new product introduction, etc.
  • Analysis of sales and customer service data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Leverage data in making recommendations to improve sales, attach rates and overall revenue and profitability.
  • Work with the Partner in identifying new growth opportunities. Develop presentations & proposals to secure the growth opportunities. Ensure that proposals are commercially and technically viable.
  • Support the onboarding and launch of new partners/ products/ promotions so that the experience is smooth and seamless for all parties and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Work with SquareTrade Operational teams as the key point of contact and reference for the Client and ensure queries and issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations/CX, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and other teams to introduce required changes to product and/or service.
  • Understand the competitive landscape with respect to competing products, and ensure our products and services are innovative and provide a competitive advantage to our clients and end Customers


A successful Partnerships Manager is a true relationship owner for SquareTrade partners, leading them to greater revenues from programs and improved customer loyalty. You will also bring strong collaboration when striving towards sales and profitability goals, and enthusiastically support your colleagues day-to-day.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a consulting firm and/or in one of the following sectors is highly desirable; Retail, Financial Services or FMCG
  • Degree in one or more of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field preferred
  • Proven success in managing client and / or supplier relationships and negotiations
